There are a couple of fiery artisanal food festivals to enjoy this summer in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The second annual Panza Llena, Corazón Contento: New Mexico Food and Beer Festival (August 4-5) is a historical journey through the flavors of Santa Fe. Guests have the opportunity to experience historic methods of food preparation, learn from food historians, attend culinary demonstrations, shop with local vendors and artisans and enjoy beer from more than 10 local New Mexican breweries. Taking place from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. at El Rancho de las Golondrinas, adult admission is $8, seniors (62+), teens (13-19) are $6 and kids 12 and under are free.
The Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta will return to Santa Fe from September 26 – 30th 2018. The annual affair, which is celebrating its 28th anniversary. During the five-day series of events guests can enjoy cooking demos, wine seminars, winery luncheons and wine-pairing dinners. The Fiesta culminates with the Grand Tasting at the Santa Fe Opera where 75 participating Santa Fe restaurants and 90 wineries serve samples of their best chile-themed food and wine.
