With its rustic, seasonal menu sourced from local organic purveyors, the menu offerings at Nopa never seem overwrought or over-thought. Savory starters here include Flatbread Pizzas, and a variety of  satisfying specials such as delicate tempura-style Fried Anchovies.

One particularly reliable delight here is their Spit-roasted Chicken which can be enjoyed with a simple starter of, say, braised greens with garlic and lemon. In the pleasant din of the high-ceilinged room, talented mixologists produce superlative Pisco Sours, Sazeracs, or other classic San Francisco cocktails.
