Subtle Saint Rose

Weirauch Farm’s Saint Rose cheese (named after the city of Santa Rosa) is a farmstead sheep’s milk cheese with a soft interior that offers mild nutty flavors with a subtle floral finish. At two months the cheese is delicate and still mild. As it ages out to over three months, becoming considerably sharper and more complex.

This artisan farmstead cheese is also certified as humanely produced by the Animal Welfare Institute. Joel & Carleen Weirauch’s sustainable farming practices include rotational pasture management, green building, water-reuse from the creamery for irrigation, and solar energy support.
